SARTHAK "Social Action Research Training Health Awareness & Knowledge" was formed on 16 June 1997 with the vision of 'development' through gender sensitivity, women empowerment and participation, awareness generation and capacity building of women, adolescentgirls and children on health and their rights. It majorly focuses on the health of the women, children and adolescent girls. SARTHAK has been closely working with the adolescent girls for their improvement and betterment in their lives through Menstruation Hygiene Management and Life Skills to lead their life with confidence in districtMirzpur. Apart from this Vocational training and development of entrepreneurship with market linkage was also initiated for sustainable outcomes for adolescent girls.SARTHAK is also working closely with community on livelihood, Sanitation and Hygiene, Education,Land Rights and gender responsive governance.
